Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid George Armstrong Hammer Cape Gun with Case Inscribed to Baron De Vinck Manufactured c. 1870s. The gun has browned Damascus steel barrels featuring a blade fore sight and a platinum centerlined seven-leaf rear sight, one of which is a ladder graduated to 1,200 yards, on the broad flat solid rib marked "George Armstrong & Co. Cradock. No. 726." in gold inlay, ram-rod ferrules with sling stud for an absent rod, period Birmingham proof marks, and chambers with extractor.
