She is the second child of Donald Trump, the 45th president and current president-elect of the United States, and his first wife, Ivana. Trump was a senior advisor in her father's first administration (2017–2021), and also the director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship. Raised in Manhattan, Trump attended the Chapin School and later Choate Rosemary Hall. She pursued higher education at Georgetown University before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in economics in 2004. Prior to her political career, Trump was an executive vice president of her family-owned Trump Organization and also a boardroom judge on her father's TV show, The Apprentice. In January 2017, she left the Trump Organization to become an unofficial advisor in her father's first presidential administration alongside her husband. In March 2017, she became an official employee in his administration. During her tenure in the White House, Trump focused on economic initiatives, women's empowerment, and workforce development. She was instrumental in the creation of the Women's Global Development and Prosperity Initiative, aimed at advancing women's economic participation globally. After leaving her official government role in January 2021, she has remained active in various business ventures and philanthropic efforts.
