Large blue and white ceramic bowl or dish attributed to the Swatow (Zhangzhou) kilns, circa late Ming period (late 16th to early 17th century). Decorated with phoenix and flowers around central medallion area with substantial intentional glaze void and iron-toned kiln effects. Unglazed foot with firing discoloration.
