A large and diverse collection of ephemera including celluloid-covered tin pinback buttons, lithographed tin buttons, embroidered cloth patches, and stamped metal badges. The collection spans approximately five decades of American political, social, and commercial history, with a significant concentration of items related to Pennsylvania, Ohio, and South Carolina. Political and civic memorabilia includes campaign buttons for John Heinz for U.S. Senate (Pennsylvania), Bush/Quayle 88, President Gerald Ford, and Keck for Judge. Social and advocacy items include Planned Parenthood Love Carefully, Your Smoking Hurts My Lungs, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers water safety buttons reading Don't Drown It Will Spoil Your Day. Historical civic items feature two stamped metal Pennsylvania Resident Citizen's Fishing Licenses dating to 1939 (red) and 1940 (black), as well as 1776-1976 American Bicentennial commemorative pins. Advertising and regional interest items include McDonald's Big Mac Attack and Ronald McDonald House support buttons, Penreco 1878-1978 centennial buttons, East Broad Top Railroad, and tourism pins such as I'm a Florida S.O.B. Ask Me Why and Apple Festival 82 Hartford, Ohio. Collegiate spirit is represented by a Penn State Love ya Lions button and a Clarion vs. Brockport 1957 Homecoming button. Militaria and textile items include an embroidered U.S. Navy Seabees (Naval Mobile Construction Battalion) patch in its original plastic packaging, a large embroidered black panther head patch, and an embroidered eagle head patch. Pop culture items feature various smiley face buttons, including a pink smiley face and a yellow button with the text I've been BUF-P'd. Other notable text includes Buzzy Bee says BE HONEST, Reach Out Grow, and March is Minuteman Month National Guard.

Atlee Raber Auctions will coordinate in house packing & shipping (at buyer's expense) with on all items we deem as suitable for shipping, as a courtesy service to our customers.

It is the bidder's responsibility to take shipping costs into consideration when bidding on these items.

Shipping methods may include FedEx, UPS, USPS or whatever method is best. Atlee Raber Auctions cannot be responsible for loss or damage to the items during shipping.

Large items, such as furniture, large signs, neon, etc, will exclusively be FOR PICK-UP ONLY or for private courier delivery as selected by the winning bidder or recommended local agent from Atlee Raber Auctions.


The buyer is free to contact any shipping company they wish, as shipment is not limited to the agents provided by Atlee Raber Auctions.
