This lot comprises an assortment of newspaper supplement magazines published by or for the Cleveland Plain Dealer between 1959 and 1961. Included are issues of This Week Magazine, the Cleveland Plain Dealer Sunday Magazine, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer Pictorial Sunday Magazine. These large-format periodicals feature colorful cover illustrations and photographic portraits characteristic of mid-century photojournalism. Featured cover subjects include an exclusive interview with John F. Kennedy titled Six Bravest Presidents (July 2, 1961), Harry S. Truman (June 4, 1961), U.S. Secretary of Commerce Luther H. Hodges (June 18, 1961), and Sophia Loren (May 29, 1960). Other notable covers depict the Unisphere from the 1964 World's Fair, professional baseball action, and regional Ohio landmarks such as Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial at Put-in-Bay. Each issue contains a masthead with the Cleveland Plain Dealer imprint and specific publication dates ranging from September 20, 1959, to July 9, 1961.

Large items, such as furniture, large signs, neon, etc, will exclusively be FOR PICK-UP ONLY or for private courier delivery as selected by the winning bidder or recommended local agent from Atlee Raber Auctions.


The buyer is free to contact any shipping company they wish, as shipment is not limited to the agents provided by Atlee Raber Auctions.
