An elegant and decorative pair of cut crystal lustre table lamps, each richly adorned with faceted crystal prisms and fitted with matching etched glass hurricane shades. Inspired by the grand crystal lustres of the late Georgian and Regency periods, these beautifully proportioned lamps combine classical form with sparkling brilliance, making them equally suitable for traditional, Hollywood Regency, or grand millennial interiors. Each lamp is constructed from substantial cut crystal elements, including faceted baluster stems, deeply cut crystal bobeches, and stepped polygonal bases. Multiple rows of hand-strung faceted crystal pendalogues and elongated spear prisms surround each bobeche, creating exceptional light refraction when illuminated. The accompanying clear hurricane shades feature delicate engraved geometric decoration that complements the faceted crystal construction below. Originally designed as electrified decorative accent lamps, the pair captures the timeless elegance of antique crystal girandoles while offering practical illumination. Their substantial weight, abundant crystal ornamentation, and refined proportions make them ideal for placement on consoles, sideboards, bedroom chests, or formal living room tables. Matching pairs of crystal lustre lamps continue to be highly desirable among collectors and interior designers for their ability to add brilliance and classical sophistication to both period and contemporary settings. Overall height: approximately 23 inches including hurricane shades.

  • Literature: Inspired by eighteenth- and nineteenth-century English and Continental crystal lustres and girandoles, later twentieth-century examples such as these became highly sought-after decorative lighting, reflecting the continued popularity of classical crystal forms in luxury interiors.
  • Circa: Mid to Late 20th Century
  • Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. Crystal components remain bright and display beautifully with only light age-appropriate wear. Prismatic drops appear largely complete with minor variations possible. One candle sleeve exhibits cosmetic wear/loss to its paper covering as shown. Electrical components are vintage and should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to regular use. Lamps have not been tested. Hurricane shades are free of any readily visible major chips or cracks noted from the provided photographs.
