This lot features thirteen antique hand tools and utility items, primarily from late 19th to early 20th-century American manufacturers. The group is centered around a selection of adjustable wrenches, including a Stillson-pattern pipe wrench by Walworth Mfg. Co. of Boston, Massachusetts. Several monkey wrenches are present, with markings identifying them as products of the Coes Wrench Co. of Worcester, Massachusetts, including one bearing an 1866 patent date for L. Coes. Another monkey wrench is attributed to the Girard Wrench Mfg. Co. of Girard, Pennsylvania. The collection further includes several C-clamps of varying sizes. One large clamp is embossed with the Champion maker's mark, while others are stamped Unbreakable and Malleable Iron. Utility items in the group consist of a small hatchet with a wooden handle, a metal shoehorn stamped Sommer's with a 1919 patent date, and a multi-section wooden folding rule with brass hinges. The tools are made of forged and cast iron or steel, featuring period wooden handles on the wrenches and hatchet. The folding rule at the top of the frame indicates a length of approximately 35 inches. The largest monkey wrench measures approximately 12 inches in length. The Stillson pipe wrench measures approximately 10 inches in length.
