Ancient Seas, Middle Miocene to end of Pliocene epochs, ca. 23 to 2.6 million years ago; North Africa, early Cretaceous (Lower Albian to Lower Cenomanian), ca. 112 to 97 million years ago. A group of fossilized teeth featuring a polished megalodon tooth with a smooth, lustrous surface, accompanied by two mako shark teeth of unknown species and age, possibly fossilized, showing natural wear and variation. The group is completed by two Spinosaurus teeth from North Africa. Size of megalodon tooth: 3.8" L x 3.2" W (9.7 cm x 8.1 cm)

  • Condition: Large megalodon tooth is polished with smoothed edges and no serrations, showing a small bore hole on the root from marine activity with tiny encrusted shells, and includes a small display stand (not pictured). Two mako shark teeth of unknown species and age, possibly fossilized, include one with a bail loop for wear, while the two Spinosaurus teeth show tip losses and a stable fissure on one.
