COUNTRY COILED-RYE AND WOVEN-VINE BEE SKEPS, LOT OF TWO, comprising an example of woven (possibly grape) vines in conical form, and a coiled-rye example of tapered round form with a flat top. Both retains a mud plaster-like coating to the exterior. 19th/20th century. Conical example 22 1/2" HOA, 14 1/2" D base.

    The estate collection of Patsy Martin, Chambersburg, PA.

  • Condition:

    Good overall condition, each with typical minor to moderate wear to the exterior coating and minor scattered losses to the weaving materials.
