An attractive assembled collection of five vintage English teacup and saucer sets, showcasing a variety of classic floral patterns, gilt accents, and decorative treatments representative of fine twentieth-century British tableware. Highlights include a Royal Albert Bone China "Laurentian Snowdrop" cup and saucer in a delicate pale celadon ground decorated with hand-painted snowdrops and finished with gilt trim. Also included is a charming pink floral teacup and saucer by Sutherland China, England, featuring an Art Deco-inspired border with colorful floral sprays. A Lenox (Marryland) saucer paired with a floral teacup, an additional floral-decorated bone china cup and saucer, and an elegant silver-overlay cup and saucer with stylized floral decoration complete the grouping. Royal Albert, established in England in 1896, is among the most celebrated names in English bone china, renowned for its richly decorated floral patterns and exceptionally fine porcelain. Sutherland China likewise earned a reputation for producing elegant floral tea wares during the early-to-mid twentieth century, while silver-overlay porcelain examples remain popular with collectors for their distinctive combination of delicate china and ornamental metallic decoration. Ideal for collectors of English tea wares, afternoon tea service, display cabinets, or decorative interiors, this varied group offers a pleasing assortment of styles suitable for both collecting and practical enjoyment.

  • Literature: Includes examples by noted English manufacturers including Royal Albert Bone China (Laurentian Snowdrop pattern) and Sutherland China, England, representative of the enduring popularity of English floral bone china produced throughout the mid-twentieth century.
  • Circa: Circa 1930s–1960s.
  • Condition: Overall good vintage condition with light age-related wear, including minor rubbing to gilt decoration and expected utensil marks. One Lenox saucer exhibits a visible hairline crack extending through the body, as photographed. Remaining pieces appear free of significant chips or major damage based on the photographs provided. The silver-overlay decoration shows light age-related wear consistent with use.
