This lot comprises three antique educational volumes. The primary work is The New Reference Atlas of the World, published by C. S. Hammond & Company in 1912. This folio-sized volume is bound in maroon cloth with decorative black stamping and silver title lettering. It features numerous physical, political, and historical maps, including double-page color maps of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the Maritime Provinces of Canada. The title page states an original price of $3.00. The front endpaper bears a cursive ink inscription: Miss Anna Brown / West Salem / Ohio / Champion Hall 1911-12. Accompanying the atlas are two octavo-sized schoolbooks tied together with a red patterned fabric ribbon. The first is Everyday Arithmetic - Advanced by Franklin S. Hoyt and Harriet E. Peet, published by Houghton Mifflin Company at the Riverside Press, copyright 1920, identified as the Thirteenth Impression with the code D4. The second volume is Barnes's School History of the United States, a revision of a brief history by Joel Dorman Steele and Esther Baker Steele, published by the American Book Company, copyright 1903.
