This small pitcher or creamer is produced by the English pottery firm Wedgwood. Crafted from cream-colored earthenware, commonly known as Queen's Ware, the piece features a bulbous body tapering to a pedestal base. The rim is decorated with a ruffled pattern. The decorative handle is formed as a clown head with the hat meeting the rim. The entire piece is finished in a monochromatic cream glaze. The underside of the base bears an incised WEDGWOOD mark. A hand-written paper inventory label is affixed to the base, indicates a production date of circa 1875. Dimensions: 4.25"L x 2.50"W x 3.00"H
