Two Morgan Silver Dollars (1886, 1921)
1886-O
1921-S

Authorized by the Bland-Allison Act of 1878 to subsidize the booming domestic silver mining industry, the Morgan silver dollar was designed by Mint Engraver George T. Morgan and came to symbolize America's westward expansion and Gilded Age industrial growth. Struck in 90% silver across five different mints, production ran continuously from 1878 until 1904 when silver reserves were finally depleted, followed by a brief, massive final mintage in 1921. Today, it stands as the most widely collected classic coin in numismatic history, highly sought after for its historic link to the Old West and famed conditional rarities like those struck at the legendary Carson City Mint.
