American percussion half-stock rifle with approximately .40 caliber bore, 34" octagonal barrel and 50" overall length. Features a figured curly maple stock displaying pronounced tiger-stripe grain, brass nosecap, brass ramrod ferrules, iron buttplate, iron trigger guard and double-set triggers. The rifle retains its ramrod and is fitted with fixed sights. A partially legible stamping is present on the barrel flat near under the flash pan. The visible letters may indicate a Remington barrel marking, though the inscription is obscured and could not be positively identified during cataloging. This item can be shipped in-house. Multiple lot combined shipping may require 3rd Party shipping.

  • Condition: Stock exhibits an old repair on the left side opposite the lock. Abrasions and handling wear are present at the wrist. Metal surfaces retain an aged brown-gray patina with scattered wear consistent with age and use. Ramrod present. Action and triggers work. See images for more details on condition.
