The obverse of each note features the portrait of Abraham Lincoln, while the reverse depicts the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. The notes bear the facsimile signatures of Kathryn O'Hay Granahan as Treasurer of the United States and C. Douglas Dillon as Secretary of the Treasury. The banknotes are printed on standard US currency paper and are presented in individual clear protective sleeves.
