An attractive assembled collection of eleven decorative porcelain cabinet pieces dating from the late 19th through the mid-20th century, featuring an appealing variety of forms, floral decoration, and notable manufacturers. Included are hand-painted Nippon and Meito Japan plates, a French Old Abbey Limoges scalloped plate, a K&G Luneville France example, several floral serving and relish dishes, a hand-painted fruit-decorated cabinet plate, and commemorative friendship motto dishes. The collection showcases the popularity of finely decorated porcelain produced in France and Japan during the golden age of export ceramics. French factories such as Limoges and K&G Luneville were celebrated for their refined white porcelain and elegant floral decoration, while Nippon and Meito became internationally renowned for their delicately hand-painted wares exported to the American and European markets during the early twentieth century.
