Including a miscellaneous selection of cased images, CDVs, cabinet cards, stereoviews, cameras, and imprints with varying subject matter. Condition ranges from fair to near excellent. Photos with varying degrees of toning, soiling, edge and corner wear.

Contains the following highlights:

Assorted hard images, including: Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a young woman wearing a bonnet, with a fur on her lap. Housed in full thermoplastic case with damage/loss to front cover. -- Sixth plate ambrotypes housed in same thermoplastic case, including portrait of a mother with child and portrait of a young woman (image dark). -- Ninth plate ruby ambrotype of a young man wearing a military-style jacket. Housed in half case with wear and loss to edges of case. -- Ninth plate tintype of possible Civil War soldier (image dark), housed in full case with wear to the hinge, front and back covers. -- 4 loose tintypes, CDV-sized or smaller, of men in uniform, many armed. -- 8 1/2 x 6 1/2 in. hand-colored ambrotype portrait of a young woman, uncased and lacking mat, preserver and cover glass.

Approx. 30 CDVs of identified figures as well as unidentified men, women, and children, most taken by photographers operating studios in the United States. Highlighted subjects include: 3 cartes de visite related to Abraham Lincoln, including Washington & Lincoln (Apotheosis). Philadelphia: Philadelphia Photo Co. -- Unidentified Civil War officer. Baltimore: P.L. Perkins. -- Mary Todd Lincoln. New York: Anthony. -- Copy image of soldiers at Lookout Mountain, made from cased image as mat is visible in the print, likely printed later. Uncredited. -- View of Devil's Slide. Salt Lake City, UT: C.R. Savage. -- Harriet Beecher Stowe. Philadelphia: Earles' Galleries. -- Millard Fillmore. New York: Anthony. -- 3 images of little people, including examples by Meycke (Coeln) and Rothengather (Philadelphia).

Approx. 20 cabinet and boudoir cards of identified and unidentified subjects, most taken by photographers operating studios in the United States. Subjects include soldiers from the late Indian Wars and Spanish American War, performers, and a man holding a bear with a chain.

Approx. 10 stereoviews, most with late 19th-early 20th century military subject matter with the highlight being a view of "Placer Mining, Columbia, Tuolumne County," by Thomas Houseworth & Co., San Francisco.

Cameras and a viewer, including: Six-16 Kodak camera in original case. -- Voigtlander camera. -- Bear Flash Camera. -- Wooden stereoviewer. -- Bear Flash-Camera. -- Die-cast pencil sharpener in the form of a miniature camera.
