Circa 1920, Littco Foundry, Littlestown, PA. Black figure stands with hands on hips dressed in red and blue with white apron. REFERENCE: “The Doorstop Book” by John & Nancy Smith, P. 218. 3) 8″ X 6-1/4″. African American boys at fence doorstop. 1920 Hubley Foundry, Lancaster, PA. Cast iron half round hollow casting with fine detail. Easily identifiable reproductions commonly available, originals are exceedingly scarce. 4) 7-1/2" h x 9" w. reproduction Scottie dog doorstop. SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: From the personal estate collection of John W. Armiger Jr. CONDITION: 1) Original paint with age appropriate wear, and with fine patina.
