China, han Dynasty, ca. 206 BCE – 220 CE. Molded pottery tall slender standing attendant figure, wearing a long flowing robe with a fish-tail type wide bottom, hair bulled back into a rear bun. A few remaining traces of white surface pigment on head, neck and back, hair painted black. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Custom hardwood base.
