An attractive decorative grouping of three framed wall displays, comprising an elegant shadowbox presentation of a lace-trimmed hand fan together with two finely matted botanical studies, all housed in coordinating gilt-finished frames. The centerpiece features a delicate folding fan with pierced faux ivory-style guards and sticks, embellished with silver-toned floral decoration. The fan is mounted within a deep shadowbox against a fabric-covered ground, with a blue romantic pastoral scene bordered by lace, creating a refined Victorian-inspired presentation. Accompanying the shadowbox are a pair of botanical prints depicting wildflowers and a butterfly, each professionally double-matted in soft sage-green fabric mats with gilt filet liners and presented in matching gilt beaded frames. The reverse labels identify the frames as custom handmade examples by the John H. Van Patten Co., Los Angeles, a respected mid-century California framing company known for quality custom framing. The botanical prints are clean and well-presented behind glass with light wear, scattered finish loss, and minor surface marks to the gilt frames consistent with age. Ready for display.
