Single bead sight on the smooth concave rib marked "EDWINSON GREEN & SONS, MAKERS, CHELTENHAM & GLOUCESTER", 3 inch chambers with ejectors, improved cylinder/improved modified chokes, light engraving around the breeches, and a gold inlaid "2"on the rib forward of the breech. Matching serial numbers visible on the forearm fittings, barrels, water table, and lower tang. Engraved box lock receiver with full coverage English style scroll, standard maker's marks, dual triggers, matching gold inlaid "2" on the break lever, and tang mounted safety. Checkered fancy push button forearm and straight grip stock with a brass initial oval and solid Decelerator recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .729/.729 inch; minimum wall thickness .028/.028 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches. With unmarked leather and canvas takedown case. The receiver has 30% original case colors with a light gray patina on the balance, some light spotting, and sharp engraving. The refinished wood is also very fine with crisp checkering, added recoil pad, and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent.
