Features nickel blade front and fixed notch rear sights, 2 1/2 inch chamber, single extractor, modified choke, 85% coverage in fine tight scroll engraving with game scenes, locks marked "H.C.G. STEIN" and "IN HAMBURG," tang mounted selector switch, adjustable set triggers, and flip up rear tang sight. Checkered forearm and stock with engraved cartridge trap and steel heel and toe caps, and checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .627 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .042 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches. With a set of 12.5x60mmR reloading dies, 20 un-primed .43 Mauser brass casings with box, and a box of .475 caliber, 480 grain jacketed soft point projectiles. The forend has a hairline crack from the lever to the rear fitting; otherwise, the wood is fine with crisp checkering and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
