Frary, Benham & Co. "Rifle Butt" Copper Powder Flask This antique powder flask has a copper body shaped like a straight wrist buttstock with checkering at the wrist and relief designs. The brass spout is adjustable and marked "FRARY BENHAM & CO". The overall length is approximately 8 1/4 inches. Riling's POWDER FLASK BOOK records the firm as having operated in the mid 1850s for only two yeas before being replaced by the American Powder Flask Company.
