Right side of slide dated 4/63, that is several years earlier than the proofing "66" marked on the left side of the trigger guard just below the full SN. Eagle/N proofing under bbl. Extraordinary oak leaf and acorn engraving pattern lavishly applied to the entire surface of the slide with cross hatching over the forward bridge. Light jeweling applied to each side of the trigger, hammer, and the transfer bar. Fine checkering on frontstrap. Luxury accentuated by the smooth ivory grips. Complete with two blued, brightly polished magazines. Each marked with the Walther banner. One is additionally marked "P1 9mm" and dated "12/63" on the spine, the other "P38 9mm". Presented in a factory blue leather bound hard shell case. Silk lined lid marked with Walther banner. Base trimmed in cord and compartmentalized for pistol and spare magazine.
