Exceptional World War I 1917 Dated DWM Luger Rig with Two Matching Magazines This is a beautiful example of a late WWI 1917 dated DWM Luger rig that is complete with two magazines and an attractive 1917 dated brown leather Luger holster. It is correctly stamped "1917" over the chamber area with the "DWM" logo on the front toggle, with the correct three "Crown/Script" letter proofs next to the Imperial Eagle firing proofmark on the barrel extension, frame and various small parts. It has the standard fixed sights, safety and extractor markings. As noted it is complete with two original numbered matching, WWI magazines with the wood bases that are marked "3498/g and 3498/g/+". This exceptional Luger pistol is complete with an excellent light brown leather holster that is stamped on the inside of the flap: "J.M. ECKART/1917/ULM A/D/" and is complete with a WWI police takedown tool that is stamped with a single "crown/letter" proof and "169" on the back side. The walnut grips are also in excellent condition with nice checkering on both sides. The holster is in very fine condition with a nice even brown color overall, nice tight stitching, and only minor scratches on the toe area and edges of the flap and magazine pouch.
