Exceptional Robert Burt Signed, Master Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Second Generation Colt Third Model Dragoon Minnesota Statehood Edition Percussion Revolver with Case and Accessories Only 52 of these revolvers were manufactured, one for each state, the District of Columbia, and the U.S.A. with this example representing Minnesota which was inducted into the Union in 1858. Master Engraver Robert Burt has signed his work on the underside of the barrel. There is a large amount of floral scroll engraving covering the sides of the loading lever, barrel lug, frame, hammer, trigger guard bow, top and bottom of back strap, the butt and on the bottom of the front strap. There are two gold inlaid bands at the muzzle, rear of the barrel and at the breech. The left side of the barrel lug is gold inlaid with the state of Minnesota and "MINNESOTA~1858", the right side is gold inlaid with the Rampant Colt logo and "CUSTOM EDITION", and there are gold inlaid stars on the cylinder between the nipples. With display case lined in green velvet and accessories including an empty cap tin, two cavity bullet mold, powder flask and nipple wrench/screwdriver that are all engraved "MINNESOTA".
