Exceptional Nazi Eickhorn SA Dagger with 3 Piece Hangers and Eickhorn Sales Folder This SA dagger has the double marked blade with both the "RZM/M 7/66/1938" and below this the 1935-41 Eickhorn trademark. Attached to the scabbard ring is a brown leather hanger with the clip marked on the back side DRGM and the maker mark of A for Assmann & Son. Fitted to the upper grip area is a two-piece hanger arrangement in brown leather. The grip leather piece is held in place with a brown snap and attached is a D-ring and a brown leather belt loop. These extra hanger pieces are scarce and are designed to have the scabbard hanger clip onto the d-ring and then the dagger is held stable when worn from the belt in marching formations. A slight color change to the wood is seen where the grip where leather holder is located indicating that this grip hanger piece is very likely original to the dagger. Along with this SA dagger is a July 1938 dated Eickhorn sales fold open page for both the Hitler youth knife and the SA dagger. Such sales paperwork is rarely found, and this one is a perfect compliment to the same year dated dagger. Manufacturer: None Model: None BBL: Stock: Gauge: Finish: Grips: Serial Number: Class: Other Condition: Excellent plus. The blade is in excellent original condition showing only the normal scabbard runner marks and a very few light age marks. The dark grained walnut grip is in near new condition. Both cross guards still show their original bright plating which very rarely still exists on these mid period SA daggers. The scabbard still has all of its chocolate brown paint with just a few very small areas of spidering under the paint. The plated top and bottom scabbard fittings are still in near new condition. A chance to own the very best in condition!
