Excellent World War II 1943 Production U.S. International Business Machines Corp. M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine Manufactured in late 1943, from the only U.S. M1 Carbine production block by International Business Machines Corp., (serial number range from 3,651,520 to 4,009,999) from August 1943 to May 1944. Features a "SI-B" marked winged blade front and "IN" marked dual flip peep rear sights, a "10-43" dated I.B.M. barrel, type 1 barrel band with "KV-B" marked swivel, an Inland supplied "PI" type 3 operating rod, "AOB" marked blued flat-top bolt, along with a "BE-B" fabricated trigger housing with an "EP B" type 3 magazine catch, type 3 push-button safety, and "AM B" type 3 hammer. "RMC" marked two-rivet walnut handguard and high-wood walnut stock with "I" oiler cut marked "RMC B" in the sling cut and with an "ordnance wheel" stamp on the right of the butt. It is fitted with an "IS" code magazine, a web sling and metal oiler.   • Condition: Exceptionally fine, retaining 90% plus original parkerized and original blue finishes with some light wear, a few areas of grey patina, and clear markings. The wood is fine with some gouges/compression marks on the right rear buttstock along with crisp stamps. Mechanically excellent. Overall a solid original example of a World War II 1943 production I.B.M. Corp. produced U.S. M1 Carbine!
