Engraved Flaig's Over/Under Double Rifle Manufactured circa 1968. The receiver features scroll engraving, as well as wooded wild animal scenes on each side. The trigger guard is engraved with the "Flaig's" logo bordered by scroll patterns. The scroll engraving extends to the break lever and forearm hardware. The upper left rear barrel is marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA". The underside of the bottom barrel is marked ".378 Weath. Mag.", "L. BOROVIK - FERLACH", "LB" in an oval and the matching serial number. The matching serial number also appears on the receiver and forearm hardware. The top right side edge of the receiver is marked with the Ferlach proof house proofmark and Ferlach mark along with the proofing number "3183 83". The matching proofs and number are also marked on the lower right rear of the bottom barrel. Ramped blade front sight and a fixed iron rear sight on the matte quarter rib. The barrels, break lever and trigger guard are blue, gold washed double triggers, casehardened remaining parts, Greener cross bolt action, tang mounted automatic safety with gold "S" and mounted with a checkered three piece walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, cheek piece and solid recoil pad. The stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inch; drop at heel 2 1/2 inch; length of pull 14 inch. The barrels, break lever and trigger guard retain 98% original blue finish with some edge wear and light handling marks. 60% of the original gold wash remains on the triggers. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina with some hints of dull original case colors in protected areas. The wood is very god plus with some minor dings, pressure dents and very crisp checkering. The engraving and markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
