English Sten Mark II Sub-Machine Gun, Class III/NFA C&R Registered Fully Transferrable Machine Gun with Spare Parts Introduced in 1941, the STEN Gun was a significant deviation from the hand-made, engineered SMGs that were the standard of the interbellum years, constructed chiefly from stamped and welded sheet metal and well suited to mass production. Though somewhat rough to the eye, the STEN was the quick and dirty bullet hose that the Allies needed, being widely issued by the Commonwealth of Nations, air dropped to resistance forces throughout Europe, and imitated by both the Americans and the Germans. Fixed blade front and peep rear sights, with the model and serial number markings on the magazine well and the two-position selector button on the trigger group, with a vented handguard and a tubular buttstock. No magazines are included, but the lot does come with numerous components, including multiple stocks, bolts, barrels, springs, small parts, and an uncut Sten Mark II receiver tube (note: tube is not registered). Manufacturer: English Model: Mk II BBL: 7 3/4 inch round Stock: metal Gauge: 9 Finish: black Grips: Serial Number: FQ20337 Class: Class III Condition: Very good as professionally refurbished/refinished, showing 98% of the current black finish, with some mild handling marks and edge wear.
