Certain items cannot be paid online. Items with words like "war", "gun", "knife", etc. will automatically be flagged by AuctionZip as a potential hazard. Even a book about knives, a video about war, or a plastic replica gun get flagged. It's not us, it's the site. Those items must be paid for in person or by phone.
We send invoices to Wisconsin residents at the end of the auction.
We send out of state invoices within a day or two of the end of the auction. All of your items have to be gathered and packed, weighed and measured and postage calculated before we can add that cost to the invoice.

All items are sold as is. There are no warranties. We try to inspect all items and list any obvious flaws, but will occasionally miss a chip, crack or mark, or even a missing piece. Look closely at the pictures and if you have any questions, please feel free to call and ask. We can look at specifics for you and add more pictures to the listing.
All items are available for in person viewing from 11 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday or by appointment at BHA Warehouse/ Store, 3365 E. Washington Ave, Madison, WI. Call (608) 240-4588 to schedule a private viewing.
Local auction winners, or anybody who wants to pick up their items, will be
expected to pick up their items from BHA Warehouse/ Store, 3365 E. Washington Ave, Madison, WI, between Monday and Wednesday, of the same week the auction ends between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., or call to make an appointment.
Any items not picked may be forfeited and re-listed on our next sale.

If you need your item shipped, please let us know before you pay your invoice. We ship USPS Priority, with Insurance. It is pricey, but worth it to have your items insured.
We can ship USPS ground, uninsured, if you'd like. It's cheaper. Just let us know that you'd prefer the least expensive shipping option.
It also makes sense to look at the combination of items you bid on. If you win a bowling ball and some very fragile china, you won't want them shipped in the same box. We will use our discretion so shipping and handling may be separate for those items.

If you live in Wisconsin, we assume you want to pick up your items. If you want them shipped, please let us know so we can calculate shipping and handling before you pay online.
If you live outside Wisconsin, we assume you want your items to be shipped. Please wait to pay online until after shipping charges have been added to your invoice. If you prefer to pick up your items, let us know and we will hold them for you.
Cash and approved local checks can be accepted at the time of pick up.
Credit and debit cards can be accepted at the time of pick up or by phone.
If you pay with a card by phone or in person, charges will appear on your statement as "BHA Resale Store."

Shipping Terms
Many items can be shipped. Priority USPS rates will be added to the total, plus $5 handling fee for up to 3 items, $10 for 4 to 6 items and so on.
USPS shipping can be EXPENSIVE. Please be sure you are willing to pay the cost of shipping before you bid on an item.
Be sure that we have your correct mailing address. We take no responsibility for items sent to an incorrect address.

No ammunition will be shipped.
For those items that are too big to be mailed, we offer "to your door" delivery within 100 miles of our location (3365 E. Washington Ave, Madison, WI) BASE CHARGE is $20, PLUS $1 PER MILE. May be extra charge for multiple items, depending on size.

Sales Tax
If you live in Wisconsin, your winning bid and buyers fee total will be charged 5.5% Wisconsin state and local tax.
If you live outside Wisconsin, sales tax is your responsibility
Tax exempt bidders must provide proof of exemption.
