Appropriate internal areas are in the white. Correct "M2" chamber marking; Royal Portuguese Army (Portuguese Model 1909). Triangle within circle diamond proof on bottom of bbl. & left front of receiver. MAGS: fair cleaned tin plated 8 rd. mag. w/ sm. circle triangle proof at spine base. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: fair holster w/ provision for cleaning rod & loading tool. Back of holster under flap marked "A.E". Exterior of leather has cracked finish w/ noticeably aged appearance. CONDITION: poor to fair bore w/ noticeable heavy wear & moderate plus pitting in grooves. Overall good arsenal refinish w/ scattered peppery oxidation throughout; more concentrated & even in grip area. Light typical high point wear. Especially good appearing straw colors. Fitment of takedown lever & its detent spring appear replacement as rnd. end of lever is below frame surface on right & dent spring significantly protrudes at bottom of frame. Moderate hand wear to grips w/ some occasional slight diamond damage. (16-1742/NW). CURIO. $1300-1900.
