Conditions of Sale
By registering for this auction, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth by Hoosier Auction Services. Bidding in this sale you agree to pay a buyer's premium of up to 20% and any applicable taxes and shipping. The auction house alone has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary due to a dispute. Should there be an error on the sale of a lot the auction house will communicate the error within 24 hours of invoicing. Hoosier Auction Services is not responsible for any errors in bids, omissions of bids, or failure to execute bids. Absolutely NO returns or refunds will be accepted, all sales are final. Buyers Premium
A 20% buyers premium will be added to all successful bids and is payable by the bidder as part of the total purchase cost. 15% of this is for Hoosier Auction Services, 5% to Auction Zip.
Items that are picked up and paid in full by cash within 5 days of the sale, buyer will receive a 3% discounted buyers premium.
Credit Cards Cont
Bidders have 72 hours to contact us after the sale, either by phone or email to coordinate pick up or payment by check option. After this time, we will run all outstanding open invoices through our automatic payment processing and proceed with shipping.
If items are picked up and paid in full by cash within 5 days of the sale buyer will have a 3% discounted buyers premium.
Condition of Items
Hoosier Auction Services makes every effort to accurately describe every item offered for sale. All items are being sold "as is" and it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. Hoosier Auction Services will not be held responsible for typographical errors. Neither we nor the consignor, makes any guarantees, warranties, or representation expressed, or implied, regarding the property or the correctness of the catalog. Please use the description and pictures to determine the exact condition of the item and should you have any questions about the item you must ask before the auction ends. Payment Terms
All merchandise must be paid in full within 72 hours of the date of sale, otherwise the automatic payment will be process. Please contact us within the first 72 hours if you would like to pick up or pay by check. We accept: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, personal checks/ certified checks, money orders, and cash. Make checks payable to: Hoosier Auction Services. There will be a $30.00 service fee for all returned checks. All invoices paid through Auction Zip invoice will incur a 3% processing fee. You will have the first initial invoice for product and then a second invoice for shipping.
Shipping Terms
Packaging, shipping, and insurance on items will be available to successful bidders. Most items will be packed by us. Items over 36 inches and other items that are uniquely shaped, require special packing, or deemed to heavy will be taken to a 3rd party shipper. Hoosier Auction Services partners with the Freight Station for those items. All shipping charges must be paid for within 5 days of invoicing. Items will be shipped immediately after payment is received and or cleared.
You must set up pickup within 72 hours of the auction otherwise all invoices will be in process of shipping, and you may incur packing fees.
It is the bidder's responsibility to take shipping and handlings and insurance costs into consideration when bidding on items. Please keep in mind that size, shape, weight, items fragility all factor into the cost of shipping. We will ship all items to the buyer at the listed address on invoice. Any risk of loss or damage to the items during transit via carrier, more than the insurance provided by the shipping carrier, is at the risk of buyer. Buyer releases Hoosier Auction Services from all claims for loss or damage to any item during transit.
Sales Tax
All items purchased from Hoosier Auction Services are subject to all state and local taxes unless appropriate tax-exempt forms are on file and are up to date. It is the bidders responsibilities to know that sales tax is applicable. Bidder agrees to pay Hoosier Auction Services the amount of tax due if sales tax is not properly collected for any reason.
