Documented Wolf & Klar Shipped Engraved First Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Factory Letter and Holster The factory letter confirms the revolver was one of 5 shipped to Wolf & Klar in Ft. Worth, Texas on June 29, 1922, and verifies the caliber, barrel length, and finish. The grips are "Not Listed." It is engraved with Wolf & Klars distinctive line engraving patterns on the barrel, frame, cylinder and back strap. It has the one-line Hartford address on the top of the barrel, "45 COLT" on the left side, the two-line/three patent date marking on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt, the number "3" and the Colt triangle "VP" proofmark on the upper left front of the trigger guard, blade front and frame notch rear sights, all nickel finish, and fitted with replacement checkered hard rubber grips with each having the serial number of another gun scratched on the inside. It comes with an unmarked holster with a snake skin design, double loop, brass stud and concho adorned. The upper loop has eight larger caliber loops. There is an illegible name scratched into the lower back side. The replacement grips are also very fine with a few small dings and crisp checkering. The markings are sharp and clear. The action is excellent. The holster is good with a couple of minor tears, some wear, tight stitching, and tarnished brass.
