Civil War Era Colt Model 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver Manufactured in 1862. It has the one-line New York barrel address, Colt patent frame marking and stagecoach holdup scene on the cylinder. Matching numbers are found on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, cylinder, loading lever, barrel wedge and arbor pin. Manufacturer: Colt Model: 1849 BBL: 6 inch octagon Stock: Gauge: 31 percussion Finish: blue/casehardened Grips: walnut Serial Number: 219418 Class: Antique Condition: Fine. The revolver has a mottled gray patina overall with the barrel retaining 60% original blue finish. The cylinder retains traces of original blue, and shadows of original case colors remain on the remaining surfaces. Nearly all of the cylinder scene remains. The grip straps retain 20% original silver plating. The grip is fine with a small missing chip near the front strap (left side), some minor handling marks and retaining most of the finish.
