Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver with Holster Rig and Factory Letter According to the included factory letter this Bisley was shipped to Richards & Conover Hardware Company in Kansas City, Missouri, on August 28, 1911, in its current configuration (grips not listed) as part of a shipment of five guns of the same type. Also included is a leather belt and holster that fits the gun but is designed for a longer barrel. The barrel is marked with the two line address on top and "BISLEY MODEL) 32 W.C.F." on the left. The frame has the two line, three date patent information on the left side followed by the circled Rampant Colt emblem. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard, back strap, and grips (partial). The matching assembly number "489" is marked on the loading gate and right side rear of the frame. It has the standard blade front and frame groove sights and is fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt emblem on top. The balance of revolver retains 20% of the original blue finish and silvered case colors with bright cylinder drag lines, patches of pitting and oxidation, and minor scratches. The left grip panel is very good with some wear on the lower edge, and the right grip panel is fair with a long crack. The action is excellent and the markings are mostly clear. The holster rig is very good with some mild wear/aging of the leather and buckle.
