Collector's Lot of Two Colt Double Auction Revolvers -A) Colt New Pocket Revolver with Scarce 2 1/2 Inch Barrel Collector's Lot of Two Colt Double Auction Revolvers -A) Colt New Pocket Revolver with Scarce 2 1/2 Inch Barrel Manufactured in 1904 with an estimated 400 manufactured with the 2 1/2 inch barrel. This was the first swing out cylinder, double action pocket revolver made by Colt. Front blade and rear grooved sights. The top of the barrel is marked with the three-line address/patent dates, the left side "COLT. D.A.32" and the left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt in the center of "COLT'S/NEW POCKET". Manufacturer: Colt Model: New Pocket BBL: 2 1/2 inch round Stock: Gauge: 32 Colt Finish: blue Grips: hard rubber Serial Number: 23831 Class: Curio & Relic Handgun Condition: Fine. 60% original blue finish remains with areas of high point and edge wear, surface scratches, and a mostly brown patina on the grip straps. The grips are very good with a chip absent from the toe of the right panel and some small dings. Mechanically excellent. B) Scarce Colt New Police Target Revolver Manufactured in 1904. An estimated 5,000 New Police Target Model revolvers were manufactured from 1897 to 1907. Elevation adjustable beaded blade front and fixed rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, "COLT'S/NEW POLICE" and "Rampant Colt" on the sideplate, checkered hammer, and smooth trigger. Manufacturer: Colt Model: New Police BBL: 6 inch round Stock: Gauge: 32 Colt Finish: blue Grips: hard rubber Serial Number: 17435 Class: Curio & Relic Handgun Condition: Fine. 60% plus original blue finish remains with areas of a mottled brown/gray patina, edge wear, light spotting and numerous small scratches. Grips are also fine with small dings. Mechanically excellent.
