Fixed blade front and adjustable rear notch sights, standard markings on the barrel and frame, and fitted with a casehardened trigger and hammer. The grips are checkered with inset silver S&W medallions. The original box is included. The revolver is attributed to and includes a collection of memorabilia relating to San Francisco Police Department Captain George Dyer. Dyer was an investigator on the Zodiac Killer case, and director Don Siegel's inspiration for the iconic Dirty Harry character. Items include an article from the January 16, 1972, edition of the Oakland Tribune with an interview with Don Siegel, where Dyer is mentioned as the inspiration for the Dirty Harry character, a collection of photographs taken during the school bus hijacking scene of the Dirty Harry movie, a copy of "San Francisco Police and Peace Officers' Journal" from December, 1951, assorted rank insignia and medals, various police uniform patches, and stationery. B) Smith & Wesson Model 36 Double Action Revolver with Holster Fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights, standard markings, and checkered grips with inset silver S&W medallions. Includes a tooled Earl Ginn black leather holster. The original box and papers are also included. Manufacturer: Smith & Wesson Model: 36 BBL: 2 inch solid rib Stock: Gauge: 38 S&W special Finish: blue Grips: walnut Serial Number: 756569 Class: Curio & Relic Handgun Condition: Very good with 90% original blue finish, scattered handling marks overall, nicks, and surface scratches. The grips are good with well worn original varnish, crisp checkering, and assorted small nicks and dings. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with corner and edge wear, and fading of the lid.
