These pistols were produced from 1893 to approximately 1928 when they were subsequently replaced by the Type 14 Nambu series of pistol. It is fitted with the late style grips that exhibit the 19 serrations. There are no other markings on the outside of the pistol. It is complete with the original and very rare WWII Leather Type 26 clamshell holster, that has a metal non-original cleaning rod.
