Collector's Lot of Two Colt New Line Pocket Revolvers -A) Colt New Line 32 Caliber Etched Panel Revolver Collector's Lot of Two Colt New Line Pocket Revolvers -A) Colt New Line 32 Caliber Etched Panel Revolver Manufactured in 1880, this revolver features the two line Hartford address on top of the barrel, etched "COLT NEW 32" on the left barrel side, "32 CAL" on the left side of frame, and the serial number on the butt. Fitted with half moon blade front and frame groove rear sights and a pair of checkered "COLT" grips. It has blued small parts and otherwise nickel plating. Manufacturer: Colt Model: New Line BBL: 2 1/4 inch round Stock: Gauge: 32 RF Finish: nickel Grips: hard rubber Serial Number: 16412 Class: Antique Condition: Fine. 75% plus of the nickel plating remains with some flaking and oxidation primarily confined to the cylinder. Half of the original finish remains on the small components. The grips are very fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent with clear markings including the etched panel. B) Colt New Line 30 Etched Panel Revolver with Pearl Grips Manufactured in 1875, with two line Hartford address on top of the barrel between two crosses and "COLT NEW 30" etched in a panel on the left side of the barrel. "30 CAL" is stamped vertically on the right side of the frame behind the recoil shield. The matching serial number is marked on the barrel and frame, while the cylinder is numbered "9977" and has British proofs. It has primarily a nickel plated finish, a blued cylinder, trigger, hammer, and cylinder pin; and is fitted with smooth mother of pearl grips. Manufacturer: Colt Model: New Line BBL: 2 1/4 inch round Stock: Gauge: 30 RF Finish: nickel Grips: mother of pearl Serial Number: 4056 Class: Antique Condition: Very good as assembled with a replacement cylinder. 60% of the original nickel finish remains while nearly all of the blue finish has faded and there is some light spotting. The grips are very good with some small chips and an age crack in the left panel. Mechanically excellent with clear markings including the etched panel.
