The rib has the two-line barrel address/patent dates marking, and the top strap has the 1875 and 1877 patent dates marking. Comes with a factory .32 single action box numbered to a different gun and a bore rod. The revolver retains 97% original nickel finish showing some very scattered light to mild flaking. Vivid original case colors remain on the hammer. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine showing some mild wear. B) Remington-Smoot New Model No. 1 Revolver Manufactured from 1875-77. Standard one-line barrel address/patent dates marking. Comes with a factory box with "directions for use" label on in interior of the lid. Manufacturer: Remington Arms Inc Model: Smoot BBL: 2 13/16 inch solid rib Stock: Gauge: 30 RF Finish: nickel Grips: hard rubber Serial Number: 1662 Class: Antique Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% plus original nickel finish showing some mild flaking. The grips are fine showing high edge wear and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair with green paper loss and tape repairs.
