Very Fine Civil War U.S. Starr Model 1858 Army Double Action Percussion Revolver The Starr Model 1858 Army and Navy revolvers were among the few double action revolvers of the Civil War. Starr revolvers as a group were the third most widely used after only Colt and Remington. This example has standard blade and groove sights, standard factory markings, small single letter inspection marks, and inspector cartouches on both sides of the grip. The grip is also very fine and has some mild dings and scratches, distinct cartouches, and mild edge wear including small chips. Mechanically excellent.
