Civil War Massachusetts Arms Second Model Maynard Percussion Carbine 8,000 Second Model Maynard carbines were purchased by the U.S. government in 1863 to 1865 for use during the Civil War. Among the units issued this model were the 9th and 11th Indiana Cavalry and 11th Tennessee Cavalry.
