They could have been readily concealed in a hand warmer (muff) or pocket. Both pistols have a screw-off Damascus barrel, a Liege oval proof on the left at the breech, "19/112" on the bottom at the breech, acanthus scrollwork engraving, folding triggers, and fluted and carved highly figured grips. They come in a leather bound case with French fitted interior, several lead balls, a wooden container of caps, a bullet mold with integral nipple wrench and sprue cutter, and "ANDRE/BOULT. ST. MARTIN 5.TER." retailer markings. Manufacturer: Belgium Model: Percussion BBL: 1 1/4 inch round Stock: Gauge: 39 Finish: bright Grips: fluted walnut Serial Number: 19112 Class: Antique Condition: Very good plus with mostly bright surfaces, some light pitting, signs of cleaning, small chip on the left side of the grip, and generally crisp carving, flutes, and engraving. The action needs some work and does not lock up at full-cock. The case is also very good with moderate storage wear including some tearing of the lining and binding. The accessories are very good.
