The responsum was sent to R. Yisrael Gordon and was printed in Igrot Moshe, Orach Chaim, Part 2, Siman 74. Rabbi Moshe Feinstein (1895-1986), the leading halachic authority in the US, uncontested leader of Charedi Jewry and head of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah. Head of Tiferet Yerushalayim Yeshiva in New York. Authored: the Igrot Moshe responsa, Dibrot Moshe novellae on the Talmud, and Darash Moshe on the Torah. [1] leaf, 28 cm.
