This Austin Healey was initially delivered to the USA and imported from Florida to Germany in 2014. In the USA, the car was shown at the exhibition of a renowned American classic car dealer. With its black and red two-tone finish, the almost mint interior and the spoke wheels made of chrome, this Healey is a visual eye-catcher. The car was completely restored in the United States: in the course of this, chassis, brakes and engine were completely reworked. A cover is also available. Between 1959 and 1962 only about 3,000 pieces of model BN7 were built. By comparison, of model BT7 approximately 16,000 models were built in the same period.

Austin Healey
After working at the companies Riley and Triumph in the 30s, automotive engineer Donald Healey (born 08.03.1898) began producing cars under his own name from the end of World War II onwards. At the beginning engines by Nash Motors, Alvis and Riley were used. The actual founding of Austin Healey began with the use of the Austin Motor in 1952. From the very beginning, besides roadsters for road traffic, vehicles for rally and circuit racings were built. The integration of Austin Healey into the BMC Group (British Motor Corporation) in the mid-50s, improved on the one hand the financial possibilities for racing, but on the other hand, there arouse rivalries in the distribution of money and know-how between the BMC brands Triumph, MG and Austin Healey.
