Back in the day, you might have had this used on you, after a shave and a haircut. Antique Shelton Gentry Vibrator This was an instrument used by many, including barbers, to give a neck massage to their clients It came from the Shelton Electric Company, in Chicago and New York, patented in August 1906. Ours, the instrument looks to be in decent shape (showing signs of use), however, the cord leaves much to be desired, and, we caution, that you should have it re-corded before attempting to use Condition: Fair - Needs recording/rewiring
