It carries a some great copy on it, including; "The Recorded Purpose of this Machine Is Insured Against Altered Checks by the Fidelity & Casualtiy Co. of N.Y ... See Your Policy" And; "Protected by The William J. Burns International Detective Agency Inc." It's in very good condition, and we can't say when it was last used (The first row of numbers doesn't move up to the number 1, so not sure if something inside is stuck, needs to be adjusted). This would make a great decoration prop for any number of businesses and establishments, or, a gem for the collector of Antique Check Writers.
