"Paging Lawrence Welk!" Antique German-made Forte Button Accordeon That's not a misspelling, "Accordeon", is imprinted right on the top of this single-row button music maker, coming from the Late 19th Century, or Early 20th Century, and made in Germany. It's in good condition for it's age. Above the buttons, and reeds, carved into the wood is "Steel Bronze Reeds", and one reed is bent. Under the buttons, on the bottom is a small finger, or, thumb strap. On the back is two key buttons, to enhance the sound and has a hand strap, that shows wear and has a tear in one corner (something that should be easily fixable). The bellows are in good condition, and there are metal accents on the bellows, front and back board. If you are a collector (and/or player) of Antique Musical Instruments, this piece is for you.
