Conditions of Sale

This auction will have a soft closing, the first item will close at specified time, remaining items will close 1 minute thereafter. Items with bids placed in the last 5 minutes will automatically extend the bid closing time.
PAYMENT
A buyer's premium of 15% will be added to all final bids. Payments accepted are cash, certified check or personal check if known by the auction company, MasterCard, Visa, American Express & Discover accepted. We do not automatically charge your credit, payment must be made at pickup or by emailed invoice. Dangerfield's reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal or bank check until the check has cleared our bank.
If shipping would be required you must contact us PRIOR TO BIDDING, we will not transport large items, i.e. furniture for shipping. By placing a bid you agree to pick up at the specified location or to pay separate shipping and handling charges to a local shipper.

WARRANTIES/REPRESENTATIONS
All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. Dangerfield's Auction nor the consignor make any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to merchantability, fitness, property, value nor of any other kind, express or implied. All items are available for your examination before the sale. Written and oral descriptions are our opinions and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to authenticity, age, condition, materials or any other feature of items being sold. Dangerfield Auctions attempts to catalog every lot correctly and will attempt to point out any defects but will not be responsible or liable for the correctness of the catalog or other descriptions of the lot including genuineness, attribution, provenance, authenticity, and completeness, condition of property or estimate of value. All measurements are approximate. Antiques, by the very nature of their age, have wear that reflects their years of use. As a result, honest wear earned from use is to be expected and is sometimes the proof that an item is an antique. Normal wear will not be listed. Buyers who would like to know the fine points regarding condition should call. We recommend prospective bidders examine all items in which they have an interest. By placing a bid, either in person, by phone, absentee or via the Internet, you signify that you have examined the items as fully as you desire to or that you have chosen not to examine them. If you require absolute certainty in all areas of authenticity, and the results of your evaluation leave uncertainty in your mind, we recommend you have an expert examine the lot for you or do not bid on the item in question. No refunds, all sales are final.

WITHDRAWAL OF LOTS
Dangerfield's Auction reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time before the sale date without liability.

STORAGE/PICK UP
All sales are final and all items must be paid for the day of sale or in the instance of a online only sale the specified pick-up date, or upon receipt of invoice. Buyer must have paid receipt to pick up items. All items must be paid for before taken from premises. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for items at the time of sale. All property must be removed from our premises no later than the close of business at specified pick-up date. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Dangerfield's Auction, items not removed by the specified time will be charged storage and handling fees. Property not paid or removed on pick up date will be considered abandoned unless prior arrangements have been made with auctioneer.

Buyers Premium

15% (10% Buyers Premium plus 5% Internet Premium) will be added to final bid.

Condition

Descriptions, including conditions and photos, are offered as a courtesy to bidder and should be considered as an opinion only and not a statement of fact. It is the buyers responsibility to preview in person any items being sold.

Payment

We offer professional shipping in-house and are more than happy to work with you.
Our process goes like this:
1. You will get an invoice email the day after the sale ends. If you live out of our area, we will assume that you need shipping.
2.We professionally package your order and calculate shipping. We make every effort to combine multiple items into one box.
2. We send you an invoice with the total due. Once you pay the invoice, we purchase the shipping label and get your items on the way to you. USPS is used most of the time, sometimes UPS, especially for the larger items.

Shipping costs are calculated by:
- Cost charged by shipper (UPS, USPS, etc).
- $5 per box, for most boxes.
- Unusual items or unusually sized items may not be shippable with us.

We will be happy to work with you if you use a third-party shipper.

Shipping Terms

Shipping is available only with prior email authorization of auctioneer.
Shipping costs will be the full responsibility of the buyer, and handling fees will be applied to any items being shipped by a separate shipping company.
A $5 handling fee may be charged to winning bidder by auction firm for each bidder requiring shipment. Actual shipping and insurance (required) will also be charged to bidder by an independent shipper.

State of Ohio Sales Tax

This auction is held on location, NO sales tax will be charged.
